Is this HPV?

Hello, 3 days ago I woke up with an itchy bum, I thought it was nothing so I went to take a shower and felt some extra skin on my passage, and I noticed a tiny pimple. I freaked out that it could be HPV, but also felt calm cause I remember the last time I had sex was like 15 months ago and was protected, and as weird as it may sound I tend to check my body like every day and I never saw this there til now, so I put on some cream and it changed the color from pink to brown, and got smaller. It's a single bump, I don't itch anymore and I don't have any other symptoms, I would appreciate any help! I've also posted few pics, thank you in advance! http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=5n3kn4&s=9#.W1css6CbzqA

This does not sound like hpv. The vast majority of wart outbreaks will be within 4 months of exposure, usually multiple warts, soft and fleshy and painless.  The tiny pimple is probably exactly that or an ingrown hair. Especially if it shrunk shortly after using cream. It takes weeks for warts to go away with cream. It's also possible that it could be an irritated skin tag. At worst, it is a wart.  They will go away with or without treatment and you move on with life. But again, I feel fairly confident that it's not hpv based on what you've written. But for that peace of mind, go get checked. Take care.

The only way to know for sure is to go see a doctor or dermatologist or someone at a sexual health clinic. You're right, it would be odd to have a genital wart after 15 months of protected sex, but from what I've learned about this virus, it's more surprising and it's outlier situations than I originally thought. Having said that, I wouldn't be too concerned about it being HPV either, but you really just have to go get it checked out by a professional.
