Oral HPV?

I've heard that it is really rare to get HPV in the mouth, but I just recently noticed these bumps on my tongue and I had one or two on the inside of my cheek over the last month that went away. I last had sex with the person I contracted it from in September of 09, but I have been having sex with one partner since about October of 09, and we have had unprotected sex a few times.  I was diagnosed with HPV in August, but I wasn't checked for oral warts. Recently, my throat has been really dry and irritated easily. For example, if I talk to someone for a while, it will get a little sore. Can anyone answer my question?

I had an HPV wart cut out of my throat in october. It was not at all cauliflower shaped. It was smooth, only one of them appeared. You would have to go to a ear, nose and throat doc to be sure.I have to go back every 6 months for him to check my vocal chords.

You will have to see a dermatologist to confirm that the warts are on your tongue. My bf has it on his tongue and he was given a creme to apply on it before going to sleep.
