Oral and HPV (yes again sorry)

Hi. I was recently diagnosed with HPV.  I was wondering, I read above that if a man gives me oral sex , he cant get it right? I mean it super rare for mouth warts right??? So It's safe for me to move on with my life and enjoy oral sex??? Also.... Can i give HPV to a man if I give him oral sex? I mean can it spread through blood/saliva etc??? or just skin to skin? Please help.

HPV does not transmit as easily through oral sex as through genital to genital contact, and it seems as though the concequences of oral HPV are less clear. There have been some studies linking an oral HPV infection to oral cancer, but tobacco and alcohol use are still that major causes.

So Oral sex isn't totally "safe" but in my opinion, it isn't much of a risk either. If my partner had HPV, and was wart free (i would want those treated before hand) I would have no problem performing oral sex. The way I see it, 95% of sexually active people contract HPV, and about half of college age people have an active infection. HPV is unavoidable. But it is a personal choice, and your partner should know the risk before making his choice.

HPV is a skin infection. It does not spread through blood or saliva. If you have an oral HPV infection, it was not caused by your genital infection.

He will have to decide if he thinks the risk is acceptable. Like I said, I don't think it is a really big risk, but he might feel diferently.

If you have been wart free for 6 months or longer, I wouldn't worry at all.

Well idk if this has anything to do with what you all are discussing but I am so lucky to have contracted high risk hpv which causes cervical cancer and a while back i posted thinking that i may have oral hpv or the kind that causes oral cancer..and everyone was saying its impossible its rare bla bla bla...well just as an update its not so rare!! Because guess what I have throat cancer...i could kill the ******* who gave this to me..except i guess its my fault for being stupid and trusting him...i did not give him oral sex...so im assuming it was transmitted through regular sex...and here i am ...having to make an appointment to get myself fixed :(

What were the symptoms that made you get your throat checked out? How old are you? Are you saying you caught this from just kissing??
