Persistent outbreak for 2.5 years

I have several factors that seem somewhat atypical:

- I've had a continuous outbreak (warts) for the past 2.5 years, ever since I first contracted (or developed symptoms).

- The warts recently spread to both sides of my upper thighs (within the past couple of weeks).

- It seems like whenever I have sex with the partner from whom I contracted HPV (I know there's no absolute way of knowing, but I'm pretty sure in this case), the outbreak gets worse.  Is this even possible?

Can anyone else speak to these experiences and whether they fall in the range of "normal"?  Is it possible that I'm dealing with something other than HPV?  Aldara and freezing have both been largely ineffective; Condylox has been moderately effective but quite painful.

Never heard of an outbreak getting worse from one particular partner. Why are you still doing it if it does happen to be true?  Are you boosting your immune system via vitamins, exercise, healthy living, no cigs, no or little booze?  Usually people who do that recover quicker.

I would suggest your doctor do a biopsy to be sure they are warts.  What does your dr say?
