Slow urine flow, irritation at tip of penis - possible STI/STD? Please help

6 weeks ago I had my first (and last) unprotected one night stand with a stranger.  Although very stressed I noticed no sti/std symptoms for the first few weeks.  I texted the girl to confirm she was clean and she stated she had just been tested recently (prior to our encounter) and results were clean; she also stated that it was her first unprotected one night stand as well; though I'm not sure.  Close to 3 weeks after the encounter I noticed a slight aching sensation at the tip of my penis and shortly after came down with cold-like symptoms that included intermittent headaches and just generally felt like my body was trying to fight something off.  I also noticed a slight stinging irritation at the tip of my urethra after urination.  At 23 days after encounter my urine and blood was tested and results were negative for syphillis, Gono, chlamydia, and HIV.  Irritation has mostly subsided but still can be felt at times after urination.  At about the 4 week mark I started noticing a slowed urine stream which is still persisting.  My penis is also very flacid much of the time probably due to extremely high stress levels (I thought flacidness may be causing urethra stricture however flow is slow when not flacid as well).  I also still feel the cold symptoms intermittently as well.  I don't know if there is any correlation to HPV but a small, plantar like wart has developed on the palm side of my middle finger near the knuckle too.  No other symptoms to report.  Even though initial tests came back negative I am very concerned this may be a viral infection (HSV, HPV, warts) which was not tested for on the standard panel.  I intend to get tested again for everything including viruses at the 3 month mark (in 6 weeks).  I have been with my girlfriend for 6 years now and this is the first time I slept with another woman in this time.  I am now avoiding intimacy with her until the test results come back at the 3 month mark.  The mental/emotional stress is overwhelming and I fear weakening my immune system.  Any professional advice/insight would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you -

You could have some irritation of the urethra - have you been tested for a urinary tract infection? This could explain both the irritation and the other physiological symptoms. Some other possibilities could be yeast infection or simply an allergic reaction to a personal care product, laundry detergent, etc. If you have been tested and come up clear for STD's, you really should accept the diagnosis and stop stressing over it, because this could actually be causing the ongoing symptoms. Try some relaxation techniques, make sure you keep the area clean and dry (to prevent further irritation), and use a penis health creme with vitamins C and B to boost healthy immune function.

You cannot be tested for HPV unless they remove that wart and biopsy it. There is no panel test for men that includes HPV.  You should see a urologist for any issues with your penis and the urine flow. The odds of getting HPV from a one time un-safe sex encounter is not that great. Please do not think you have it unless a positive diagnosis comes back from a biopsy or a dermotologist or urologist provides a visible diagnosis.

As for your immune system, some of us here think that boosting it will help fight the virus. Doing stuff like quitting cigs, quitting booze, daily exercise, taking vitamins & supplements, healthy diet, less stress, more rest than usual, etc. You will lose weight and feel healthier. Any change in lifestyle like taking vitamins should be discussed with your PCP before you do this.

You can get tested for HSV but not HPV. No test for men exists except biopsy. Men can rely on test results that their female partner gets but not much else. If your continue to stress, seek professional mental health help as stress causes many issues with body health.
