Throat Wart! Worried!

Hi,

I am 29 years old female and I have something look like a wart on my throat, close to my uvula for how long I don't know as I have noticed it around a year ago. At first I didn't pay any attention as first time I saw it, I was coming up from cold and I had sore throat so I thought it is due to cold that I had. I went to my GP for the cold and sore throat and he didn't say anything about my bump/wart on my throat. Yes,I didn't mentioned about my bump/wart but it is very noticeable and kinda impossible to miss it. After I learnt that there can be HPV on throat 2 weeks ago I went to my GP and showed my bump/wart. He said it looks like a wart but it doesn't look like cancerous and I shouldn't be worry about it and go home. Then I asked him what if it is a HPV related wart and if it is possible to refer me an ENT to be sure. Then he said HPV is not his area and he will refer me to an ENT professional. So if I didn't ask him to refer me to an ENT then he wasn't going to do anything about it. So I don't know if should I be relax about the wart as it was my idea to see an ENT or maybe he was just not trained for HPV thats why he wasn't concern about it. Now I am very worried and couldn't sleep at all because I am very afraid of
1. if I transmitted it to my boyfriend by oral sex even though he has no visible sign. I don't know if it is related but We have been together for 4 years and 2 years ago he tested for all STD and result came negative.
2.  if I develop throat cancer later on
3. Should I give up to have a baby in the future since virus is not treatable I cam transmit it to the baby.
4.Are all warts on throat by sexually transmitted HPV?
5. Could it be because of my 6 years ago genital warts? In other words is genital warts and throat warts are same HPV virus, if you have once it can show up anywhere?

Thank you very much

going to see the ENT specialist is the best thing to do! once you have a better idea of what this really is, then you can decide with your partner what to do next.

genital warts are a cosmetic issue only, not a health risk.  the types of hpv that occur on the external genitals are different from the types of hpv that infect the cervix and can progress to cervical cell changes over time that are detect on a pap test.

you've been with your partner for 4 years. at this point I wouldn't bother changing anything about your sex life.  if you do have hpv yet, he's been exposed already.

I had genital warts 6 years ago and a gynecologist removed them by laser and I have never had them again. I have been told they weren't dangerous type. I have had 2 PAP test, 1 of them was this year and all result were normal. Thanks
