I agree with coljac29. However HPV can be transfered from mother to child at birth, it's just practically unheard of. If you have HPV and you are pregnant, Drs don't even suggest different forms of birth, because of how unlikely it would be for the child to catch it.
You don't need to sterilize your underwear. It's only passed through skin to skin contact, if anyone came into contact with your underwear nothing would happen as the virus would of died instantly.
if you want to keep your boyfriend safe then use a condom, however if you plan to marry this guy and have his children he may want to resign himself to the fact he will probably get the virus - it's never as bad as it seems. Maybe you could wait untill you've had no symptoms for 6-24 months, then begin not using a condom, and start using another form of birth control. Drs suggest if you've been free of symptoms for that amount of time the virus is laying dormant, and your boyfriend will therefore not catch it.
As for having children, it will be okay. By that time you'll probably be 'clear' and you should experience no difficulties giving birth. Just inform your Dr of your previous history of HPV.
Cadee i think you are very badly infomed on several of your points there. HPV can not be transfered from mother to child at birth. It is badly informed people like you that make so much stress for people when it is not needed.
you should go to the hospital to have a check.
keep clean and sterilize all the underware .
take condom and use them when you have sex with your boyfriend.
if you are infected with HPV,and have a baby ,the baby will get hpv from his or her mother .
