Genital Warts?

I had gone to the doctor today to get an std screening to see if I had genital warts because of a bump or what not that was hard but not painful. When pressure is applied it doesn't hurt and it will itch for about 30 seconds and half of the time I don't even realize its there. The doctor told me she wasn't quite sure if it was a wart but it kinda looked like one. She proceeds to say that it's not raised or in any clumps of the sort like a wart would be. But I also had oral from a guy with a beard so I was wondering if it could be an irritation or a scab as well. While she did the pap smear she said there was nothing on the inside of me. She said I had a little inflammation on my cervix and discharge but I do get reoccurring yeast infections as well. And tried to prescribe me medicine for gonorrhea and chlamydia. I don't know what to think since the doctor doesn't even know

When you first had broke out with the warts how bad would it itch? I'm just wondering because whatever it is going on down there doesn't really itch and it doesn't cause me any pain or discomfort either

Can't blame ya there...just always be sure to use protection, and HPV can fight itself off, if you stay healthy! :)

Thank you once again! I think my only thing is the fear of how to tell someone I'm in a relationship with or any sexual partner at that fear of rejection mostly

Hang in there dear! Even if it is Genital warts- always remember, this is simply a skin condition that can be treated and sustained. I have warts, just because I'm pregnant! Lucky me! But my hubby and I don't let it bother us, and we continue on with normal sexual activity :)

Thank you! I have it hasn't grown or changed any colors and quite honestly I keep an eye on myself very closely and it hasn't spread or anything and its been 4 days. It just showed up after the facial hair and before then I've had no signs of anything except discharge. No burning and no pain during intercourse either

Its tough to diagnose...if the doc did a pap, and it comes back abnormal, there could be a chance the it means you have genital warts. Just keep a close eye on the bump and let the doc know if it changes color or shape :) It could be some minor irritation from oral with someone who has facial hair...I have had that before too. Just keep in contact with your doctor!
