hpv or another std

hi . i am tryin to self diagnose  right now. i recently sttarted havin sexual intercourse  with someone.he have no hiv and so do i( i got testedd for both hiv and std.) my vaginal swabs indicate i have yest infections but that all. i do alot because of my iud. now i saw some flat brown spots around my vagina and anus ,, they are sparse . so while web surfing i think i may have hpv or something. i dont have sex with out condoms since my last test.but they say hpv can still spread. beacuse of my fear. i have no other symptoms except for vaginal bad odour wen periods come and i am just fed up of this std and hiv fear. i want am going to get a papsmear and hopin it comes out ok. but if it is hpv . is there a cure and would i be healthy to give birth to another child. also i want to know is it ok to take the vaccine if i have it already . but all these taughts are uncertain.plz help

No there are some cases where people have genital warts but never have symptoms. Or experience a wart and then never have symptoms again. Even if there is no wart present they can still spread the virus, it's just harder when theres no visible warts. It would not spread if the virus was laying dormant in the system

hi thanks for your response. i also learnt in this community that if there are no visible looking warts on the penis or around the shaft. then its most likely that the person does not have gentital warts. and therefore cannot be spread.

Yes hpv can spread without a condom, but when you use a condom it's the closest protection you'll get. The symptoms you describe do not resemble high or low risk HPV. You can still have children if you get HPV. The pap will detect any high risk strains, and to identify low risk strains you must get a Dr to look at any suspicious bumps you may find in your genitals, which could be warts. There is no cure but it is treatable, and most people get rid of the virus in 6-24 months as there immune system fights back
