when are you not contagious?

Hi there Dr. Handsfield, I was diagnosed with  genital warts last summer, treated most of them my self using apple cider vinegar and had the rest removed by a Dr. It's been 6 months since ive had any signs of them, I check weekly with ACV to see if any are coming back, am I still contagious? Thank you

No one really knows the answer to your question. Some doctors say if you haven't had any warts in 6-24 months then you are not contagious, others say you are always contagious . From personal experience , I had no warts for almost a year, then one popped up. It definitely sucks but it's not the end of the world. Keep your immune system strong , hopefully someone will have a definite answer soon
