Is the max always the best?

Hi I'm a 51 year old female diagnosed with extensive premature coronary heart disease (11 Stents), anemia, gerd and high blood pressure 2 1/1 years ago, I'm on numerous bp meds and even so my bp is extremely high  (240/140 last Doc appointment), they have termed it malignant, at the last doc appointment she told me I'm going to have a stroke and possible another heart attack, I have repeatedly told all my doc's that I am having major issue with the meds they make me physically ill (to the point I've developed a ulcer), the last hospital stay when they discharged me they told me to tell the doc and they could put me on different meds, but the only response I keep getting is we have you on the max dose, in my experience with life more is not necessarily best so would the same be true of BP meds.( My Bp at home runs around 190/145 plus)  I take valturna 300/325mg, coreg 25mg, spironolactone 100mg, hydralazine 100mg, norvasc 10mg, imdur 120mg, clonidine 0.3mg, plavix, aspirin, carafate and dexilant, and a anti nausea med. some of which I take several times a day, some how I feel that my bp is reacting negatively to all the meds. I'm tried of them (Docs) trying to scare me at this point I'm just tired of all the dramatics, I know it is serious but I feel they are not listening, and don't know how to make them.

Welcome and I'm sorry to hear of your issues. I don't think the doctors are ignoring you, they are just looking at your extremely high BP and expressing their concern. It's not a scare tactic, if you continue to run that high you will most likely have further problems.

Can you tell me what BP meds they have tried? Let me know and maybe I can point you to an alternative.
