Post hysterectomy vagina bleeding what could cause

Bright red blood a few times what could cause it with pain on lower left then goes after hysterectomy no burning .

There are a number of things that could cause it. Of course, you would have to see a doctor to determine the cause. Some of the possibilities are vaginal atrophy which can cause vaginal or urethral tissues to tear and blood vessels to break due to the thinned tissue. If you have endometriosis, endometrial tissue on the vaginal cuff can cause bleeding. There may be other possibilities.
