25yrs old gettting hysterectomy

Hello ladies, I was just wondering if there is anyone on here who had to have a hysterectomy at an early age. I'm 25 getting ready to have a hysterectomy due to complex A tipia Hyperplasia not sure if that is spelled right. I have been dealing with this off and on since 2008 and this year found out it didn't go away like it had in the past and my dr just doesn't know what is case my body not to shed the lining normal so i don't have normal periods and i also have pcos so i will be having my ovaries and tubes removed too. I also was wondering if anyone had the Da vinci Surgery and if it was fast recover and less pain like they say

Horriable sex life after words had mine early age. in 1994 I have had so many problems since urinary infections yeast infections and there is nothing there when a man has sex with you there is nothing there to support his penis just being honest. I had vaginal repair did not help either/ so if you dont absolutely dont have to do it dont. other things can be done. also you will need hormone therapy premarin pill and I got cancer from it I think or something. It fertilizes cancer cells. I took it many years Im now taking arumidex for five years because of the breast cancer. believe me the periods and pain are worth not losing the insides. Nothing left there to support that area doctors lie.

Nice to hear you are doing well. It will take some time to recover , but things will improve slow but sure.Right after surgery your hormones can be all over the place, know this is normal and use this site for support! I had mine in March 2011, and I am 33 years old. I know you are younger, and it is a tough choice but you can do it!!  I feel great, no problems. It is nice not to have the heavy bleeding, tiredness, weakness, dizziness and pain. Sex life has actually improved, no further pain and worry, things all work well!! I hope you have a great recovery!!!

Yes, I had my surgery at 25 years old. I did not have the Da Vinci procedure though. I do hear that in most woman it goes very well and is better that open abdominal surgery, which is what I had.
Have you already had a second opinion? I really recommend doing that when having a hysterectomy. Even though I completely trusted my Dr I got a second opinion and it just put my mind a little more at ease.
