Nice to hear you are doing well. It will take some time to recover , but things will improve slow but sure.Right after surgery your hormones can be all over the place, know this is normal and use this site for support! I had mine in March 2011, and I am 33 years old. I know you are younger, and it is a tough choice but you can do it!! I feel great, no problems. It is nice not to have the heavy bleeding, tiredness, weakness, dizziness and pain. Sex life has actually improved, no further pain and worry, things all work well!! I hope you have a great recovery!!!
I had my hysterotomy on monday august 29th,2011 I am doing well lots of pain but things seem to be much better for me so far. Just wanted to update you guys on my status
Yes, I had my surgery at 25 years old. I did not have the Da Vinci procedure though. I do hear that in most woman it goes very well and is better that open abdominal surgery, which is what I had.
Have you already had a second opinion? I really recommend doing that when having a hysterectomy. Even though I completely trusted my Dr I got a second opinion and it just put my mind a little more at ease.
