4 weeks post op quick question

hiya

i have chatted to some of you before. just want to ask a quick question i have had discharge since my op which i know is normal i did have a bleed after my first bowel movement but that stopped pretty quick and turned in to a red brownish colour now i am having a white/yellow discharge and feel wet all the time i am wearing a panty liner but it can be at times be a bit thick. i have been getting alot of sharp pains and pulling pain in my groin and right side. it still hurts to go for a bowel movement i am taking stool softeners but is still pain full i am starting to think i should go doctors now but just wanted to know what you thought first

they have increased my dose of stool softner and still having problems have seen my gyno now and she has put me on more antibiotics and is arranging a scan as might have a prolasps of the bowel dont really know what that means to be honest as fined i have to put pressure on the skin between my vigina and anus to be able to have a bm i do feel better now and the discharge is alot less now and i feel more comfertable now too. so fingers crossed healing nicley and well and truly on the road back to 100%

try to increase your fiber alot,,,Kellogs has a cereal a nurse friend recomended to me its Cracklin Oat Bran the pieces are large and cinnamon tasting I ate them straight from the box like a chip, drink lots of water and if all else fails and it did with me following a hemmoriod surgery try dried prunes they arent so bad , most dont like prune juice but if you do try some.

be certain NOT to use a laxative just stool softners. and as Remar said see the gyno, also ask him about the dose on stool softners perhaps you  can increase do not do this with out speaking with dr.

Yes, absolutely see your Gyno. Was it your family Dr you saw for the blood tests?

I have been doctors I am now waiting for some results of blood tests and vaginal swops  he has told me to talk to my gyno about the pain I am getting on my right side ad that was the side my overie was wrapped round bowl and could be a sign of something wrong still getting the pulling pains when I move but more intense when I go for a wee or a bowel movement but in my self I do feel like me again

You really should get in to see your Dr. The kind of discharge and the amount your having does'nt sound normal to me. I would'nt be surprised if you have a possible yeast infection because you were on antibiotics.     Remar
