I am certain your in a total surgically induced menopause, harder cause we arent gradually eased into it like would normaly happen, pluse your still recovering from a very serious surgery.

Talk to your Dr about Bio-Identical Hormone replacement therapy,,,please avoid old meds like Premarine.

Sounds like with a total hysterectomy you were probably thrown immediately into menopause.  Without your ovaries and egg production, no sex hormones are being produced.  I highly recommend you checking with your doctor about getting on some form of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.  You will feel better.  Check out Dr. Schwarzbein's website.  She is an endocronologist and deals with hormones.  She is coming out with a book on Menopause.
