Is it safe to bleed after sex after your hysterectomy

Hello I had a partial hysterectomy, I waited my 6 wks to have sex and the 1st time I noticed I was bleeding and after I had bad bloating pains, why is that and is that normal?

Do you still have your cervix? If so, you can still bleed even to the point of having mini periods. The only other causes of which I'm aware that may cause bleeding or spotting are vaginal atrophy or endometriosis on the vaginal cuff. You should probably see your doctor to have this checked out.
