What is wrong with me???PLEASE HELP!

Hi, I'm gonna be 29 next month and had a partial histerectomy about 6 months ago. Due to the heavy bleeding for months at a time for 9 years, severe cramping and killer pains, along with vomiting, constipation, being tired ALL the time; The quak doctor that said I had to have the histerectomy right away told me that my ovaries looked fine. Ok, so 3 weeks after the surgery I get these killer pains worse then before when I was bleeding all the time, it was so aweful, I think it was worse then child birth with both of my 2 girls. I go back to this doctor and he does a US and says that there's nothing wrong with me and basically pushes me out the door. Later my primary, that referred me to this OBGYN, in the same office, calls and tells me to come back to the office. I do and he says "Dr. ******* says there is nothing wrong with you so go get an US, I tried to tell him that I just had one, but he pushed me out too. So I got mad and having worse pains, so I go to the ER; they do a CT scan; I had a large cyst on my right ovary. They gave me pain meds. and said to get a 2nd opinion. I did! Now this OBGYN says he thinks I might have ENDO. but he can't help me with it b/c he don't that he can help???OK, what ever??? He gave a list of dr.s and one specailist and said to go to him. Not covered on my ins. What is wrong with me??? I also had displasia(sp?) in my cervix in 1998, when I started having all the problems after the doctor laser, froze, and burnt it out.
Can some one PLEASE HELP me figure out what is wrong with me??? I'm reading the other posts on this forum and all the symptoms I'm having are the same as everyone's on here. I'm so scared, and sooootired of being in pain all the time. Should I be concerned? Why didn't he want to treat me?
HELP ME PLEASE???
Sorry so long.
Thanks,
Jen

I'm on the way to recovery...I think. I found a doctor that seems like he wants to help me. He say's that I might have to have my ovaries taken but thats gonna be a last resort thing.  He put me on birth control but I've tried that before (didn't work) and I hope it works this time, but time will tell! how are you doing? I hope well.
Thank you for all you support, it means alot to me that ya'll are here for me and trying to help me work through this.

Hi, I'm  26 years old and 3 years ago I had a hysterrectomy because of severe endometriosis.  They had burned it off several times and it just kept coming back so they had to do a hysterrectomy.  I asked hime to take my ovaries but he refused beacuse of my age and the fact that he didn't want me to be on horomones so young. Well... 6 months later I started having severe pains and went to my primary care dr. they did a urine test and didn't find anything so they then didi a ultrasound and found that I was bleeding inside and that there was a mass on my ovaries. Well, needless to say I was admitted to the hospital and had to be cut back open for them to remove my ovaries and stop the internal bleeding!!  Now my insurance company has refused to pay for any of this surgery beacuse they said I had pre existing conditions!!!  Which is crazy b/c I had internal bleeding they had no choice but to do this surgery or I would have bled to death!!!  Call a doctor and demand that they remove your ovaries.  I sometimes think that they leave your ovaries because that's their job security!!!!  They know they will get more money when they have to go back in again!!!

Going back to your first post...This is wild to me too. As I've said before, the doctor that did the hysterrectomy is a total quack! I've been to 3 different docs since the surgery and only one wanted to try to help, but I felt like I did with the Quack doc. The other 2 wants me to go to a specailist but the ones they've referred me to wont take my ins. so I don't know what to do. I do know that something has to give. Everyday the pain get worse and I have a 3 yr. old that was physically and emotionally abused by her biological father and her step mother,(she don't see them anymore), and she's in therapy one to two times a week with 2 different therapists and soon to be 3, so I have to focus on her and my 10 yr. old, she has ADHD and isn't dealing with the fact that them people hurt her baby sister, so I kinda have my hands full with 2 little girls that are drama queens 24/7.LOL!!! WOW, this is long...Sorry!
I'm gonna get on the phone in the morning and notstop until I find a doctor that will help me. Thank you for your support; it really means alot to me.
Thanks,
Jen

I totally agree with jml1986. I am fairly new to the hysterectomy thing too. I just had mine on February 1st. Everything was removed because I had a lot of pain and always had cysts on both ovaries. I wasn't about to go through surgery again just to have the ovaries removed later on.

I see you are only 28 though. It is sad you are so young and going through so much.

Did you have a vaginal ultrasound? If not, you seriously need one. You also really need to find a women's clinic in your area. Sounds like you have not been dealing with doctors that specialize in womens health. I am fairly new at the hysterectomy thing since only having mine last July, but I strive to understand why so many women opt to keep the ovaries. I read so many posts on how they kept them just to need them removed later for severe pain or some other reason. It just is worth it to me.

SORRY YOU DO NOT FEEL WELL.
WHY DIDN'T YOU GET A TOTAL HYSTER?
THEY DID NOT SEE THE CYSTS.
THAT IS PRETTY WILD. I HAD 1 LARGE CYST ON MY RITE
SIDE ALSO AND HAD ALOT OF PAIN.
I GOT THEM REMOVERED DURING MY HYSTER.
5 YRS AGO. DID YOU TALK TO YOUR MD ABOUT
WHAT IS HAPPENING?. I WOULD GET HIS
OPINON ABOUT ALL OF THIS.
GOOD LUCK AND FEEL BETTER.
HUGS TO YOU KITT
