What on earth can be causing all this?

I had a hyst in April of 2005 due to cancer. they removed my uterous, tubes and cervix. since then i have had p.o.d which is polysytic ovarian disease (sp??) i had to go back and have my appendix which they assured me would rectify all the pain, then 2 months later they said it was galstones and if i had my galbladder removed the pain would be gone. then 6 months after that they said my left ovary was 8 times normal size and covered in cysts and diagnosed me with p.o.d. the last 2 months everything has changed, the pain has lightened up (normally when i ovulate i am at the docs office in tears and can barely function) however my new syptoms include, being VERY moody, my breast have gotten a cup size bigger, i am constantly sick to my stomach, my back keeps spazzing out if i bend a certain way, and i am always exhausted yet can't seem to get to sleep. i usually sleep on my stomach but it is very uncomfortable so i can't fall asleep now.  I haven't had the money to go to the doctor yet but i am hoping to this week. My husband has been out of work for a few months and we have 4 kids so money has been tight, i have all intentions of going just haven't been able to yet. Has anyone ever experianced anything like this before?

I have not been on any pain meds, i have gone this almost 3 months without anything, other than occasional ibuprofen or tylenol which doesnt do anything at all. well it got rid of my headache but nothing else. LOL i am not constipated i do know that, shoot i get so sick no matter what i eat i am in the bathroom within 30 mins from eating with diareaha ( i know its to much info but gotta say what all is going on) I had to take notes on your post so i know what all to ask for. :-) thank you very much for your help. i hope this either ends like now or they can figure it out. i have dealt with the chronic pain of the p.o.d for years but this is a whole new thing and i feel as if i am going crazy. I feel bad for my hubby he is getting less and less wanting to help. i will be fine and then just burst into tears and i dont know whats wrong and he is now like forget it i can't help you, where as before he would try and figure it out and make me feel better. ugggg this is ridiculous. i REALLY appreciate you i cant tell you that enough

IF YOU FEEL SOMETHING MOVING i SERIOUSLY DOUBT ITS TRAPPED GAS AFTER ALL THIS TIEM (whoops didnt mean caps)  its a good thing about yout seeming to not be dimpling....hard where its hurting...something is definatley in there  Id think other than the obvious anatomy such as intestines...you would benifit from a MRI
I know what you mean about the meds yes they help but they are masking the pain not helping you to get a diagnosis,,,I had a problem w my neck and it took me 3 years to get a diagnosis and many trips to er where I think they just thought I was a pill seeker.

You need the pain meds for now cause no one is suggesting a diagnois..I wonder could you be consyipated? narcotics cause that almost always..ask your dr or pharmist about colace a gentle stool softner..this could explain the pain and hardness in intestinal area...

yes lots of women bleed post hyste,,,they create this thing called a cervical cuff its the way they close the hole created  where cervix was removed some women have tears or sutures out too soon ( they are disolvable kind but can disolve too soon) so its good your not bleeding rules out cervical cuff problems.

It will change and end..but sometimes we need to switch gears and go from nice to aggressive with drs...be demanding tell him its more than you can handle and youd hate to find out its something serious and have to get legal,,,( not that you would but that usually works)
know what you mean about sleeping on back I hate that too..restless leg syndrome is casued by stress or pain or combo of both,,theres meds for that too but you may not want t0  take too much more medication...once you get a dignosis and a procedure to take care of this I would bet the restless legs will stop.

If you are not moving bowels and havent for awhild you could be impacted this can be serious need to go to er if thats the case...also if you develop fever,,,if pains a 7 or more on pain scale Id go if I was you, you should NOT have to suffer like this.

also if they are doing ultra sounds transvaginal and or abdominal it is not the best test for femal problems for example when I still had my ovaries and had cysts and ovary was attached to my bowel half the time they could "find" my ovary and half the time not,,,,well it was there ,,,many infact most ladies I speak with on here do not get real good diagnosis from ultra sounds..MRI will for certain tell whats happening

also ask for full panel CBC and any hormone tests they feel they should run...the cbc just incase some infection and hormones cause yours are very obviously off.

good luck let me know how it goes,,,I know its annoying and is mentally emotionally draining as well as physical pain but you mist get to the root of this and it sounds like you need to get aggressive and demanding. I try nice twice if it doesnt work I change ...you have TONS of legal rights infact ask for a patient care advocate next time in hospital,,,they are there to help you get proper care...

hugs

Thank you so much for everything, i did the push on my stomach and leg they both seemed to come up at the same time and the color is white. My stomach is soft and hard, hard where it is hurting and if i push on it, it feels as if something is moving, (maybe gas or my intestines?) but only when i push where it is hurting and it is hard. the only position i can sleep in now is on my back and i HATE sleeping on my back, that is when i can sleep i also have stress induced RLS ( i think that is what the doc said) so i thrash a lot in my sleep. My husband has asked me to just go to the e.r but i have been there so many time for my cysts, the last 3 times they didnt even look at me gave me a shot of morphine (which holy hell made my back hurt so bad i couldnt even walk, talk or move) they give me a script for 10 vicodins 5/500 and send me on my way. It's like really??? i only go when i can no longer take the pain and it's been more than the normal 5 days it dibilitates me. I really appreciate your time in trying to help me sort all of this out!  I called my doc and they can see my after the holiday so if it's not changed by then i am going in. (it's been like this for a lil over 2 months but i can pray it changes and ends)

Hi Ohhhh ok so glad ovary is gone I dont often say that because it interferes w hormones so much but yours was in bad shape.
They did whats called a diagnostic laproscopic its a really good procedure should 9 times outta 10 find the problem

I have NO clue why they would remove 1/2 of a uterus ..makes zero sense, normally to be steralised a woman gets her tubes tied ,,most drs will not remove uterus for this

you say you had cancer perhaps they just removed the part of uterus that was cancerous,,usually drs will try to preserve tissues w/o cancer cells I personally think in OTHER cases like if it was on muscle on leg etc that makes sense but the uterus? I think they should have taken it all, Are you having bleeding ? do you have one ovary left?

if you have one ovary get the CA125 test often like 2 times per year at drs advice,,its a blood test to determine ovarian cancer  when a lady has her cervix removed the only thing a pap smear can detect is human papalomia virus or vaginal cancer,.,,,most women IF they get ovarian cancer after a hyster because of keeping ovaries. and i get why they do you also keep your hormones and dont go into menopause,

anyways to find cancer of ovary after no cervix you need the preventionn of the blood test other wise ladies dont find it till late stages,,,( Im off on a tangent dont think thats your issue, infact I got a real good idea whats going on w you)

anyways addhesions also scar tissue can be a real you know what...addhesiona are string like tissue that develops (sometimes, often after hyster) they are like a rubber band example one side attached to your spine other side maybe attached just to muscle tissue in front by belly..when you move stretch bend it hurts,,,scar tissue just surrounds certain areas and causes pain, can hurt when you move certain ways
problem w both I had a Dr friend explain it to me like this when anyone has multiple surgeries the dr goes in tries to remove as much (in some ladies cases there is endometiosis tissue) they remove as much as possible, they do same for scar and addhesions they try to s he said reduce them knowing some will grow back cause your infact having another surgery ( brings more scars ) so its a vicious circle their goal is to reduce so a patient has 75% less endo, addhesions or scar tissue then before its not possible to get more until they figure out a way to do it non surgically

maybe some day they can break it up w ultra sound like they can do kidney stones who knows

but honestly/.//you really need to see a dr I would bet that your breast growth and pain is hormonal so Im not too worried about it Im sure its a pain in the butt for you but I think hormones will fix that Im more concerned for you about belly/ back pain

is your belly hard or soft....? push finger into it about 1/2 inch down do same thing to leg at same time use same amt of pressure see which comes up first and tell me color of belly "dimple" if your tummys soft and your dimpling this indicates water retention which means one of two things your retaining water or you have free floating water which is a issue to not take lightly

You really need to find a way to get to a Dr,,

Sorry i left out that they did remove that left ovary that was enlarged when they went in to see if they could figure out the pain laproscopicly. (sp??) I found out that only part of my uterous was removed which really confuses the heck out of me, why would only part be removed if you requested all of it to be removed for sterility reasons??? I have health insurance so the free clinics i have tried to go to deny me since i do have it. problem being i pay $400.00 a month for my kids and i to have the insurance and there is a $1500.00 deductible for another surgery to be done so they can remove my right ovary. THat and my gyn said she would prefer not to remove it since i already had cancer once and the cancer risk in my family is so high. I dont know if i should go see another doc and see what they say (the new gyn i have had for 2 years and she was the 4th one i went to) they took the pain meds away saying they didnt want me to be reliant on them 6 months ago. I was ONLY taking them when i was ovulating because i do have 4 kids and i work 2 jobs so i need to be able to function. I am also bi-polar, manic depressed and i was going into the beginning stages of liver failure last year due to taking depakote and neurotin for so long they took me off all those meds too. I am so overwhelmed by all of this i don't know which way is up. i feel as though i am a walking zombie exhausted and i feel like i have been hit by a bus! Thank you for your advice i will try the ice and see if that works.

Hi if they said it was gallbladder you musta had stones and its common to have gallbladder problems when you have lots of hormone changes in a short period of time

yes I have had lots of ladies have appendix issues after a hyster not real sure why but it happens

Im more concerned for you about the being so enlarged Im sure thats why your moody your hormones can no way be right ,,and the sleep issues too pain plus moodiness your not the back spasms are probably cause of ovary pushing on some nerves of the spine

it sounds to me like it would be in your best interest to get that ovary removed
I know moneys tight for most trust me Im in the same boat,,,try a search for your state and see if there are free hospitals..or even free clinics to atleast see a Dr I know you can find that not sure of free hospital

at the very least you need some painmeds and likely muscle relaxers you need to ask drs advice on that,

try a ice pack on sore spots on belly and back sounds like it would hurt more but often it really works heat increase blood flow and sometimes that increase pain..you should only leave ice pac on 15 min with a barrier like a wash cloth then off for 15 keep repeating
