burning sensation around vagina

after removing uterus and ovaries before six month i am feeling burning sensation outside around vagina.what is the cause?is it dangerous?

it is common and I forgot to say one important thing,,after a hyster when one is able to resume sexual activity its advisable to us a lubricatant as the vagina is dry it may help with the burning issues

I'm having the same problem. I'm taking estrogen cream, but doesn't always help. This happens to me coupled with pain in the abdomin. 3 docs have seen me and had very little to say. This seems common with hysterectomies and loss of estrogen.

Hi,

it could be many things,,,the vaginal tissue becomes dry after a hyster...what concerns me is the description of burning......you really need to see your gyno asap.....Im betting its some sort of an ingection,
