fibroids

Can you have fibroids and not have heavy bleeding. I have pain in my left lower side. Had some spotting after no period for 18 months. Had a biopsy and blood work ca125. Ultrasound set for monday. My whole family has had fibroids. I also have some back pain that was brought on by a cough one morning like a big muscle spasm. Not sure if this is related or not. So worried that something could be wrong. I have no history of cancer but I know that doesn't mean anything. I do not nor have I ever smoked. I drink on occation only. I exercise daily. I try to eat healthy...My biggest problem is I worry too much....

Hi well Im glad the back pain is from lifting and nothing else, I have to deal with that too such a pain !
Hormones or usually lack of can do so many changs and cause so many symptoms the good thing is bio-identical hormones are available to balance this, your Dr should do a complete hormone panel...then he can place you on proper medication(hormone replacement) that you need bio is safe its not like hormones of a generation ago such as premarine...Do not accept anything except a bio0identical product personally most women prefer the patch very easy to use and you know your getting right results

It is two different issues, My back is so much better from just resting it. I am a daycare provider so i lift children everyday. It makes me feel better knowing it is not related. I will hear on Wednesday what all the test show..The dr. says this could all be hormonal changes.
will keep you posted.
Thanks for responding.

I would urge you to get to primary Dr for the back pain, they may be able to determine if pain is related to possible fibroids or not...it kinda sounds like not to me I would wonder if you have some sort of lung infection,    and yes one can have fibroids with no bleeding , your doing all the right things to be on the tract to diagnosis that,

we  all worry only normal, I could well be wrong but sounds like 2 different issues
