heterogeneous uterus

I have had three CT scans all saying the same thing.  In one it measured 13.1 x 5.5 x 8.8 cm.  There are other things found in the scans.  I have severe pain in my lower right and left abdoman.  There is a lot of pain in my lower abdoman just above the pubic bone.  What is happening?  I have been trying to get medical help for more than 5 months.  What do I do?

how on earth could he know nothing is going on gyno if he did not examine you wow, Nov 10 isnt too bad but Id be calling everyday to check for a cancel..

the person who helps you with insurance and or scheduling must have a manager ask to speak with them and explain your situation,

I am so sorry your going though all of this it is ridiculous,.,,,,,we are going to have a new feature soon called "find a Dr" maybe it could help

know just what you mean about insurance,,all that will change in a few years but thats too long for many people

Just came from OBGYN and he says there is nothing really going on GYNICALOGIC, but is trying one month of birthcontrol.  He still hasn't examined me.  He said the next visit he will do an exam.  I mentioned that my cervix has made several changes since May and that it feels like one of the walls has or is collapsing.  The latest CT showed that my liver was enlarged and fatty, eventhough, I just had an upper and lower GI a month ago and the gastrologist said everything is normal.  Its not!  The soonest they can get me in is Nov. 10th unless someone cancels.  The referal to the general surgeon for the hernia repair is even worse.  The anitial consult won't have me seen till Thanksgiving at least.  What do you have to do to get any help?  My program runs out Nov. 30th.  I am trying to get it extended and the one person who handles that is sick herself.  She will be out the remainder of this week and maybe all next week too.  Once you turn in the application it takes another 1 1/2 - 2 months to get qualified.  They count that time as your qualification period.  And they wonder why people don't go to the doctor?  Insurance is supposed to be affordable for everyone.  Not if your below the poverty line.  Good luck and hope you get better eventually.  Unfortionately, that gets you dead or close to it!  I did go to the ER, but all they did was put my pain back in control and asked why surgery hasn't been done?  Told them I have been trying for more than 6 months.  At the rate they are going it will be another 6 months.  I was told that I should or would at least get the hernia repair before Nov. 30th.

The average adult uterus is about 3 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 1 inch thick shaped like an upside down pear..hetrogeneous means of more than one type of matter for example, fluid, fat tissue, muscle tissue etc...

What you need to do is becme very very aggressive do not take no or lets wait for a answer I see that you live in the USA so you really need to switch drs get another gyno opinion hysterectomys are reserved for a last resort , there is a med called Leupron that throws one into a instant menopause it would cut off vascular commponent to polyp causing it to die, problem many women have serious side effects from this med it can cause very server depression/ crying spells however many handle it fine you need to discuss w Dr if it may be wort it for you...as far as I can tell reading all you have been through I would truely advise you to ask for a diagnostic laproscopic surgery so you can find out what all issues are gyno and posssible gastro, they would be able to physically see all and remove bits for biopsy,

When my posters dont get responces from Drs and kinda get blown off I tell them switch gears always try nice twice if it doesnot work switch it up ultimatley no matter how great the surgeon Dr we need to be proactive and make sure no matter what anyone may think of us that our bodies are cared for. 5 months wayyyyyyy to long,,,,,other option go to er when pain is 7 or more they will be more than happy to run a host of tests and they will give you pain relief. Get mad my friend , get pushy this is the very best advice I can give you.
