hysterectomy and still on the pill

i have had a partial hysterectomy just over a year ago they left ovaries and cervix behind as i has been steralised year prior to hysterectomy to my horror after having mini periods as regular as clock work my doc decovered with an ultra sound scan that i have so womb left on and near my cervix and that my ovaries aint where they should be so he put me on the mini pill for the bleeding just need sum help and to find out if this has happened to anyone else

Okay, now I understand your post. I am shocked that they left part of your uterus. To me, that makes no sense at all to leave part of it. And usually when you have your uterus removed they also remove the cervix.
You say you have had your tubes tied prier to your surgery? Then I would think your chances of getting pregnant would be almost non existent.  
To answer your original question. No, I have never heard of your situation. That's just me though and there may be some other women here that have heard of it before.

i still have part of my womb left and my cervix thats why im having periods hence being on the pill  i have saw loads of diff docs and gyn docs and they all say the same because i have part of my womb left i can still get pregnant although its a one in a million chance its still a chance

I don't understand why your Dr has you on the pill if you have no uterus  because there is no chance of getting pregnant and you are not able to have any more periods. I hope I'm reading your post right. Please let me know if I am or not. If I were you, I would see a different Gynecologist.
