post- op question

I had a laproscopic bilateral removal of ovaries and tubes 2 days ago. I had a partial hysterectomy 3 years ago. They had to remove it due to large masses and endometrosis. My question is that my left side feels good but the right side is very painful and can't stand to move. Why would one side hurt worse than the other. They also put me on a hormone patch called Climara. Has anyone taken this and is it good.

I have been laying on my back. It is like parts of the right side is more swollen. I know they said they took a spot off of my colon (not sure if thats on the right side). I was starting to think something was wrong. My last surgery wasn't this bad. I have horriable burning sensation on the right. I have been using a ice pack, so I guess it is just like you said more trauma to that side. Thank you for your help.

Are you laying on your side? I know many dont like back sleeping but its best for first few weeks of this recovery...I would imagine the side that hurts more likely had more trauma....more endo or masses.
try a ice pac on 15 off 15 min  sounds like it wouldnt help but it really  does,,,no heat causes swelling and can cause bleed risks.

any bio-identical hormone is a good choice
