so much pain

I had a vaginal Hysterectomy years ago. Lately (3 weeks now) my breasts have been hurting severely. At times I want to die. I cut out caffine and it can't be that time of the month, it shouldn't be hurting for so long. What is wrong? I was told there was still a possibility of being Pregnant as well.

You could have a tubal pregnancy I suppose, that is is you still have ovaries.  However I don't think one has to do with the other.  Have you considered the idea you may have cysts on your breast? I did when I was young and they were very painful.

If you have no uterous or ovaries you can not be pregnant. I would check with my doctor.

I appreciate the advice, I had a partial, I still have my overies. I don't think I am preg. but people keep telling me it is rare but you can still get preg. and carry a baby with no uterus. I just want to really know what is wrong with my breasts. I am going tomorrow morning, I just hate the wait, it has been over 3 weeks, little scared. I don't feel lumps but it is hard on one side and not so hard on the other.

You can get pregnant but you will not carry it long before it would spontaneously abort, would be my guess.  It sounds more like breast cysts. Please let us know how you make out.

I was going to suggest getting a Mammogram. I had breast pain back in 2003 and come to find out it was because I wasn't wearing a bra with not enough support. I had a thing for sports bra's at the time, so I threw them away and got some bra's with support and the pain went away, BUT I didn't have hardness in either of the breasts, it was just pain.

Any type of breast pain should be reported to your doctor ASAP. I am glad you did this. Let us know how you make out.

I had a cyst that turned into a adenoma (benign tumor).had to have it removed back in the 90s.......I had many cysts........they usually shrink as you approach menopause.  If you have no womb(uterus) there is no place for a pregnancy to be housed(for lack of a better descriptive word).

Just a quick little update. I went to the doc and she was shocked at how much pain I was in and where the pain was located which has me scared. I go on the 24th for a mamogram and sonogram (hope the pain goes away before the crush them). They are also checking me to see if I am going into Menopause, she said after a hysterectomy your overies get confused so to speak and acts as if you are pregnant and that maybe part of the problem. I have to cut out all caffine and sleep in a bra. I now need to go buy all new ones cause these are not big enough now. I will keep you updated on test results.

They should do  a sonogram..........ultrasound.....it will show much more and hurt so much less........I had a cyst on my breast in 95, they did a needle biopsy and then operated the next day...it was what they term a adenoma....it was part fluid and part tissue, but non cancerous.  Cysts start to shrink during menopause(thank the good Lord) but until then they hurt like heck.....they did a mam on me and I fainted.....so I know what you are going thru....good luck.....keep us updated...

Well I had a sonogram and a mamogram done yesterday. Won't have the results from the mamo for a while but the sono showed 6 cysts in the right and a lot more than 6 in the left (she lost count). I guess that explains all the pain.

Yes that would explain the pain. I have already passed out during a mamogram because she squeezed so hard I think she popped one of the cysts. Biyotch, if other girls can do it painlessly I think they should all be able to do that.  Ultrasounds as long as they don't press hard the warm jelly is nice LOL....Do not drink coffee or tea with caffein...no chocolate...it will make you more tender.  I have gone thru menopause so my cysts have shrunk to where I am not in much pain anymore, knock on wood! Let me know how you make out!
