swollen painful belly 25 days after hysterectomy

3 and a half weeks ago, I ve had a total abdominal hysterectomy, removal of both ovaries and a 10cmx10cmx10cm fibroid. I have done progress, but still have acid reflux in my stomach and painful gases in my tummy. But what I hate most is my swollen, tender, painful tummy with internal stitches stinging and hurting. I am housebound and get a fair share of rest, on and off during the day, and now I am finally getting a good sleep at night, although I do some housework and cooking.  When will this get better?!

The pain should be improving but not necessarily gone by now. Everyone has different pain thresholds and heals at different rates. But it seems that your pain at this point should only be mild to possibly moderate. If it doesn't improve soon, you should call your doctor.
