Hi, welcome to the forum. I hope to help you some . You havent had a period in nine years, are you in menopause? if not it is quite possible the fibroids may be intergering in the monthly cycle, I really would not jump to thinking you have cancer. the most high percent of fibroids , as in 90 plus percent are not cancer. However fibroids and cysts especially cause a lot of pain. You really need to see you gynecologist as soon as possible, only he can upon exam and testing can determine the proper course of treatment for you. In genereal fibroids are treateted two ways either surgery or medicine there are some medicines that can shrink fibroids, the cysts it depends on the type and if they are very large or not. It may be that a hysterectomy is you last choice. I do advise all women to try every option before a hysterectomy as it is a very difficult surgery the recovery is hard. that being said I have had one and I have helped hundereds of ladies through one, its do-able,,,when you see your dr please let me know what they say and I can help you more

also if your pain is more than 7 on pain scale consider going to ER they have all the equipment to do ultrasounds etc to help diagnosis exactly what is going on and they are obligated to treat your pain. If you develop a fever above 100.5 (drs say 101. but I advise just a tad lower to be safe) if you can not urinate or have bms, if there is bleeding or any foul oder see dr asap
