Dog Vomit cleaner.

Many people know about Jake (one of the Peekadogs) trouble with constant vomiting.

I was amazed to read of this handy dog vomit cleaner-upper.  I can hardly wait for Jake to puke on something so I can try it.

Just sprinkle 2 or 3 handfuls of baking soda on the vomit.  It neutralizes some of the acids and dries it out somewhat.  Let it dry for a while, and then scrape or vacuum it up.  Follow with club soda if some stains remain, and blot dry.
NEVER try to scrub up fresh dog vomit, or it will drive the mess deep into your carpet pile.

Um...does anyone know if this will work on dog diarrhea?  Sorry!  I have to ask.  Its a problem.

The cat that adopted me a short while back vomitted up last night, didnt bother with the litter tray she threw up under my desk which was okay as it is tiles, then also on the carpet, I thought I scrubbed it off, but I think I simply rubbed it into the carpet, so I threw some baking soda on it just now ,am going to vacum in a min......

I would guess it would work but the stain would still be there.  Oh, I've used the white vinegar on the diarrhea stains.  Equal parts white vingar and water.  Apply to stain, let sit and blot up. It takes a few times but seems to do the trick.  On really tough stains I'll use a laundry pretreater (shout, etc.) then use the above method.

That's Peek, I have found dog messes and kid messes are handled the same.  I will try this the next time tummy trouble hits our house!
