Reaction to flu vaccine?

I got the flu shot and 5 days later my fingers started going numb and tingling. Within 10 days it was my whole body and sharp, toe curling, nauseating pains shoot in my shoulders, hips, and up the left side of my neck and head. This progressed every day for 14 days. On day 15 my head stopped hurting. Today is day 16 and I was actually able to make it 1/2 the day before I took Lortab. MRI with and w/o contrast of head and neck, CT scan of head and EMG/NCT were normal and my reflexes are good. At a loss... Being referred to a rheumatologist but all labs to check for anything rheumatological were normal. All other labs normal too-thyroid, b12, CBC, potassium, etc. Any one else out there one me?

Hi there. Yes, there are people out there, like you, who have had reactions to flu vaccines. We have been posting on "Tingling after Swine Flu Vaccine". Unfortunately, many have quit posting there because of a negative poster. We have started a user group instead where we can control who gets on and if necessary to block someone. All that is needed to be a part of this group is compassion and support. If you would like to join, Go to forums, click on for user groups, type in H1N1 Flu Vaccine adverse reaction group, and then request to be included in this group. All the best and I hope you feel better soon!
