thanks for the compliments over my English! No, I've never been to the States, I'm totally Italian, I simply studied the language (I've got a degree in Foreign Languages) and then I went to England several times - so, if you could hear me, you would immediately notice my British accent....and if I could hear you I would have some difficulties in understanding everything, because the American accent has always sounded "peculiar" to my ears !!! As for my health, I feel ok, no tingling neither at night nor during the day, no big pains; but I know that it could happen again, just like on Thursday, without any reason, then the tingling goes on for some hours and stop once more. NYCER says something really true: the need to know at all costs what this is and how it must be cured is part of all the anxiety and the feeling bad. As far as I remember, you were the only ones to talk about fatigue and tiredness, but you know, everyone of us has experienced some personal symptoms not shared with others. I hope you managed at last to have your sauna....I agree with your husband about the problem of driving, but don't forget there are taxis!!! We DO deserve some treat, don't we? So welcome to the glass of wine! Cheers!!

My neurologist ruled out GBS (it would've showed up on the nerve conduction tests, which were perfectly normal).  So I've stopped worrying about that.  The tests are uncomfortable, but not too bad (I imagine not as bad as a spinal tap!) ... They walk you through all parts of the exam and it's no more than an hour for the whole thing.  The neurontin seems to make me sleepy/drowsy and not much else (hasn't gone fully into the bloodstream yet, I guess).  My doc says that she prescribes it and Lyrica for neurological symptoms (tingling and pain...)... I'm usually sensitive to meds (including tylenol/advil), but so far so good (it's a small dose-- 300 mg/day).

Take care everyone -- and let's all try to relax, get some fresh air, exercise, good food, good company and hopefully things will subside on their own.  Remember also that Western medicine is not the pantheon of all knowledge systems related to the body, and it's quite possible that we're all experiencing something that cannot be name ("no-name") and our bodies will find ways to heal themselves.  I think the impulse to want a "diagnosis" and then a "cure" for what is ailing us is probably half the problem since it's making us all anxious and tired.  Happy holidays everyone and hope things work out well for all of you.

Interesting point, Francy, is it just myself and NYCER that have weakness & fatigue? Can we get feedback on this from others?? Thanks!

How are you doing, Francy? I know you reside in Italy but you have very good written English....did you original come from the states or go to school there? I'm Canadian (where that batch of H1N1 vaccine was pulled due to many adverse effects...not sure if this is where I got my dose from but the timing is around that time so I want to find out).

I did want to get up and drive for an infrared sauna today but my husband said "no driving". He's out with the kids today so he couldn't take me. I think he's worried that I'm not strong enough to drive and will have a car accident! So basically I have lots of time to play on the computer...I still want that sauna though, good for detoxing! Oh, and to help with mood, I'm having a glass of red wine everyday...big glass (tee hee)

Hallo, good evening to everybody (here is 9.30 p.m.). I read your posts, Coriecl and NYCER, very carefully and I see you seem to be the only ones in this forum to have felt also fatigue and weakness: please, don't be scared by my words, but I think it might be possible you are showing a very faint form of GBS, as one of your doctor said. My neurologist also hinted at that once. A sort of beginning of the illness, but without force enough to develop fully. That means you don't have to worry, because you won't worsen more than this ( it would have already done at this point, real GBS is very quick in developing), you just have to wait, like all of us, because it takes time, soooo much time...!! The "no-name virus" is rubbish...it DOES have a name, and that's "vaccine". Are you really taking Neurontin NYCER? Isn't it mainly for epilessy and seizures? It seems to be a very "strong" drug to me, I hope it can help in some way. Anyway, once again I repeat the same old story: as hard as it is, DON'T freak out, DON'T panic, relax as much as possible and don't stop walking !

Thanks for keeping in touch, Nycer!

I've had all bloodwork, spinal tap, but I'm not scheduled for the nerve conduction for another 10 days. What was it like? uncomfortable at all? any after effects?

Just want to know what to expect since no one told me about any possible effects from the spinal tap (I collapsed when I got up to the bathroom and I had a spinal headache for 4 days after where I literally had to lay flat on the floor). I was too dazed from the sedation & everything else, plus exhausted since it was after midnight, to ask what I could expect when they released me from the hospital a few hours later. Does a person have to be half-dead to be admitted overnight in the hospital now????

Anyway, I'm like you, Nycer, I am weak and fatigued as well as tingly. I haven't been able to work for 2 weeks now. I am tired walking up the stairs at my house never mind trying to put in an 8 hour shift. Plus, the buzzing feeling I have when I walk is very unsettling so I try not to walk too much. Reduced from a person who walked her big dog an hour every day :(

I am not on any meds except for ibuprofen and trying Dr. Blaylock's detox after vaccination recommendations (I'm not following it to the letter: I don't have beta glucan or astaxanthin, for example, but I am trying to do most of it). What the hey?! If it doesn't help I'm sure it won't hurt. I'm also going to try that anti-inflammation diet as well.

Likely this is a time thing: to work the toxic effects out of our system and for the inflammation it created to settle down. From my understanding, the medical system is very reluctant to tie any side effects to the vaccines. Probably because of potential legal hassles from big pharma. So I don't think any of us should be surprised if they try and come up with alternates like "no-name virus". However, we all know different - that we were healthy before the vaccine and got sick because of the vaccine.

Time Check: 32 days post-vaccination.

Hey there; NYCER here... I'm a 26 y.o male in the U.S.  I've seen a neuro doc 2x and had the EMG and nerve conduction tests done as well as a grip of bloodwork (no lyme, mono, diabetes, b12 deficiency or anything else really!).  The Nerve Conduction study shows no chance of GBS or anything serious, but my muscles are slightly irritated according to the EMG... So my neuro was like, "tell your docs you're not entirely crazy."  I've never had anxiety probs before but clearly have had some panic the past month (it's been a month and 3 days since I got the H1N1 shot).  So I feel somewhat affirmed by her counsel, and I know it's nothing serious, but all my doctors keep telling me it's a "no-name virus" that I just magically happened to get around the time of the H1N1 shot, and it will just be transient and run its course.

I've had a lot of weakness and fatigue all month which started hours after I got the shot.  That's my biggest problem-- in so far as I can only do 5-6 hour days without starting to feel really sleepy and fatigued...I'm also having chronic sinusitis and have had a bunch of dental problems this year (botched root canal where they left metal in my canals from the RCT instruments!)... so it's possible that my body is just really worn down.  But I've been exceptionally compliant this past month (good diet, lots of sleep, little work, relaxation, mild exercise, massage) and am still feeling beat.  I have "unrefreshing sleep," as they say... and not quite sure what to do about it.  The tingling and twitching is still there and the doctor prescribed Neurontin which I started 2 days ago.  It's supposed to help with the muscle pain in my legs and the twitching and give my brain a break, I guess.... anyone else been on this drug?  Does anyone else have problems with weakness/fatigue on here or is everyone just anxious and tingly?  Could it relate to my adrenal function and are there tests for that?  Thanks for your help.  I've been following this list all month.
