There's no end to this torture: now I feel tingling and numbness mainly at night, while during the day it fades away....so now also good sleep is gone....I'll try to contact the neurologist again his morning, but I don't know whether he can really help me...I have no more trust in anyone by now. How are all of you? Anybody REALLY and PERMANENTLY recovered?

Still tingling a little bit in my feet and hands.  I had 2 good days, but the tingling came back.  I hope everyone is feeling better soon.

glad to hear you are not feeling the tingles (!)... but i am definitely praying for both you and your baby. i'm glad that the both of you are in the hospital being monitored.  get as much rest (as possible in a hospital bed...).
since writing last, as you predicted, it has spread to my feet, and a little bit in my legs.  last night was not the best... i called our local health link who had to ask me the barrage of questions that could freak anyone out!!  but she advised that i go to the doc, just b/c it's a 'never before experienced' thing... so... we'll see...!

Hi.  My blood counts were fine.  I did not have the C-reactive protein level tested, but I would have to say in all of our cases that it could definitely be elevated. This occurs when our bodies mistakenly attack good cells (in our case nerves) instead of attacking the bad cells (bacteria, viruses, vaccines etc). From what my doctor has said  this is a transient secondary immune response, which many people experience from vaccines or from even having a cold or the flu. So even if this reactive protein was present, it still does not have to be GBS.  I would check with your primary doctor before self prescribing large doses of B12.  Mine said that I should not due it. A  high dose as it can lead to headaches, abnormal heart or kidney function.  Several of the women on this post are pregnant or breast feeding.  B12 can be very harmful to infants.

My dear, I'm so sorry to read your words! I will certainly pray for you, please, don't give up, everything's gonna be all right. Perhaps the shot reaction is not responsible for the leaking, but what about all the fear, worry, anxiety, etc....you have had in the past weeks? It's horrible just to think of it.
@lindac790: tonight I slept little and bad for different reasons (problems at work, etc....), and so  I was able to feel my right foot hour after hour tingling and literally on fire!!!! That foot was so hot! Really funny.
@dom77: why do you consider these exams so important? could you explain? I had a blood test a few days before the shot and everythin was ok, the red cells are not many, but that's normal for me (always been a little anemic). I didn't do  the C-reactive protein level. Again, could you tell us what that means?

Im sorry that I havent been on here in awhile, but I am currently in the hospital on complete bedrest because my water broke a couple of days ago, and Im only 26 weeks and 5 days pregnant!! I can happily say that I have not had any tingling, but just dont know if Im not worried about it, because of everything else that is going on. No honestly I can say that I am not tingling anymore. My main focus right now is my baby and keeping myself pregnant for as long a possible. The Dr.'s have no idea what caused my water to break/leak, but I dont know that I can blame this on the shot. Anyway, please pray for me and my baby.
