find old posts

If I want to find an old post of mine how would I go about doing that?
I have also tried to find different members first posts and have to go through many
Pages to get to their first post.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Debbie

Thank you so much Pam.
That will definitely save a lot of time instead of going only 2 pages at a time.
You just taught the mods also.
Much appreciated.

Hopefully this will help.....here's what the address looks like when I'm on page 4 of my posts:

http://www.medhelp.org/user_posts/list/480448?page=4&personal_page_id=884841

If I wanted to jump to page 300, all I would have to do is change the "4" to a "300"

Hope that helps!

Debbie, one way you can get there faster is to change the page number in the address bar......if you look at it when you're on a certain page, you'll see the page number (I think it shows up like page=120), you can put your cursor in the address at the end of the page number, backspace to delete JUST the number, then re-type a new number....., then hit "enter" or click on "go", however you would get to that address page.

If that doesn't make sense, let me know....I'll try to explain it better.

The best way that we currently have to find your own posts would be to go to your personal profile via the menu at the top of the page and go to "My Profile" (also at the direct link http://www.medhelp.org/personal_pages/my_page ) and then go to "Posts." Unfortunately there is no way to go straight to the oldest post at this point other than to click-through the post pages.

The other option is if you do happen to know the title of the post, you can use the search function at the top right of almost all pages.

Hope this is some help and thanks for being a part of the Medhelp community!
