Hi, I use the mood tracker to track my bipolar and I think it is great, (thanks for adding the times for rapid cycling!) but I think the moods are mis-represented in some ways. I have been discussing this with some other people who also have bipolar. We were thinking that the current moods are too simple. "Depressed, horrible, bad, okay, good, excellent, manic" often leave us scratching our heads. A lot of us have dysphoric mania and mixed states and these are not represented on the mood tracker. A person can be manic and it is not a good day by any stretch of the imagination. Also, there is no place for hypomania for people like myself with bipolar 2 where we don't experiance full mania.
What I'm thinking is there should be 2 sections, one for "mood" and one for "feeling."
Feelings sould be something like: Dysporic, Horrible, Bad, Okay, Good, Excellent, Euporic
Moods sould be something like: Depressed, Low, Neutral, Hypomanic, Manic
I think something like this could better help us express to our doctors what is really going on in between visits.
