Why Devics is not listed as an Autoimmune disease.  Most people has never heard of this disease.  Because devics and MS are so similar (symptoms). Most devics patient (including myself) were misdiagnosed.  First with MS when in fact we had Devics.  According to research/dr.'s, Devics is worse than MS (more frequent attacks, etc.) and should be on the list of diseases.

Thanks for the suggestion. After researching it further, we'll put Devic's Disease in the Rare Diseases forum for now. That doesn't mean that you can't discuss it in the autoimmune disorders community. We've recently shortened the list at the top of the forums to show the most popular items, but it's not meant to be an all-inclusive list. Please continue to discuss Devic's Disease in whatever community you feel comfortable in. But since it is currently a rare disease, and not one that many of our members have, it'll be best suited to be listed in Rare Diseases Community for now. Thanks again!

Thanks for the suggestion. Are you asking for us to create a new forum specifically for people with Devic's Disease? Or are you asking that we list this at the top of the Autoimmune Disorders community (http://www.medhelp.org/forums/show/174)?
