Time Zone Adjustment for Trackers

Hi,
I love the trackers and they're extremely useful! Only problem is, by default of course it's set for U.S. And I understand that as most of the members are from the U.S. I'm all the way in Australia, not only do I have huge time difference; even the date is not the same. I lose track when using the trackers and enter things on wrong dates. Is it possible to set a time zone? Or let's say when I come back to a tracker, it could perhaps be on the date last used? It's just an idea :) Thanks for your time! Cheers...

Yes excellent website everything but that time zone thingy. I think if in profile you are able to ad your time zone and everything sets around that including trackers it would work perfectly. I am not a software engineer so don't know the nitty gritty on it. With everything else you offer here it's still an awesome site!!

Another vote for Time Zone selection in account preferences (next to distance and weight units etc).

Currently +13 GMT here in New Zealand!

Wait... there are other countries on Earth besides the United States?

Just wanted to put one more vote in there for a time zone feature.  I'm a US ex-pat living in E. Africa and while I can enter data for the day ahead, it would be nice to have the site synced to the right day when I wake up in the morning.

Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion and the clarifications. We'll add this to our list of to-do's and let you know when it's available. We're working on some other enhancements to our trackers right now, so it might be a little while. Just bear with us.

Thanks,

I usually enter it via my home tab & then the widgets on that page (though sometimes via the tracker).  I can click the arrow to move to the day ahead.

So I'm double checking what date I'm on before entering anything.   Slightly annoying.

And as purplekedi pointed out, if I enter it on the wrong date, it does need to be deleted & re-entered.  Which is more annoying.

Letting users set their timezone is an easier programming solution than letting us move bits of data to different days.....

Are you entering data through the tracker itself? If so, we'll soon be allowing you to enter data into a future date (future by U.S. standards) so that you can enter in data for your current date.

If this is not how you enter data into your tracker, please let us know.

Thanks,

Are you entering them through the widgets on your home medhelp page? Unfortunately, we can't move what we've already entered to another date, so we have to delete them and re-enter. Also, don't forget each time you login the date is adjusted automatically back to the U.S time.

i'll add another vote for this feature.  i've done exactly the same thing & added meals into the wrong day on the food tracker b/c of the usa based clock. (and i cant figure out how to move them to the correct day either!)
