Just exisiting threads....
I just tried to post a question and same thing happened with the post button.
I didn't really believe it was all that difficult to open a new journal entry, type and hit post......but you know me????

I feel better now knowing it isn't ME!!  LOL!

Guess since I can't post anywhere new....except a thread......I'll just wait till it's fixed.....oh trials.....
Thanks for letting me know, Emily!
Connie
Guess you will send me a note or PM when it's working, huh?
Or someone will, huh?

Hi there -

It isn't you, and we are working on it.  Are you able to post new questions, or just respond to existing threads?

When you tap on the journal button to submit it, does anything happen?

Thanks,

Emily

I'm so sorry you're having all these problems!  Can you tell if the page has stopped loading when this happens (you can usually tell by looking at the status bar in the lower left-hand side of your screen -- it would say something like "waiting for... " or "loading... ")?  I'm wondering if it's taking a long time to submit, and hitting the submit button repeatedly is stopping the process somehow.  If you still have the text, would you mind trying to post it again?

Ok.....I'm feeling really stupid and frustrated.  It's Monday, 10/15 at 3:20pm
CT, and I have copied and pasted what I have been attempting to put in a new journal for 2 days.
I was able to post in the abuse community just minutes ago so it must not be an IE problem; but when I get the new journal entry all done and ready......I hit the post button repeatedly, nothing is happening.  It simply will NOT submit.
I know it is hard to "diagnose" user error from afar......but do you have
ANY tips on what I am doing wrong???
Any help is appreciated.

clean_in_ks, one thing you might want to consider -- especially if you're writing a long post or PM, regardless of your browser -- is composing it in notepad first.  That way, you can copy and paste it when it's ready, and if the gremlins get it the first time around, you still have a copy of it in your notepad, right on your computer.

One more time, Thank You!  I don't mean to be "naggy" LOL!

Guess if I can submit a post on this forum, it will submit my post in substance abuse, too.  Duhhh......just figured that one out!!

I just thought maybe the developers/techies could just put a "general" announcement up when IE problems are fixed......you know kinda like they do when they let us all know they are taking the system down for routine maintenance at such and such PST??  Just a thought.

Would save a lot of frustration for IE users who would really like to post and just don't know w/o constant frustration and testing whether it is fixed yet or not?

Passin it along and trying to get the hang of all this......seems like I should be doing better than this at 114 days clean......sheesh!!  :))

Meant Firefox....and it took my post.  Is there anyway for you to make announcement/advise all of that use and prefer IE when is is fixed?
