List of what's to come?

Is there a sticky post of a list of what's being worked on and what's to come for the forums?

I'm fairly new to the forums and noticed I cannot edit posts. I did a brief glance through the posts in this forum and it appears this has been asked before.

Might be beneficial to have a sticky post or even have a FAQ'S for the forums.

Sincerely, Prizma.

I saw the sticky about the 3 trackers--Kstar007 asked about it.

I think if you are able to build in a quote function and the ability to edit your post only once, you would eliminate confusion in fast moving dicussions if you enabled an edit post feature.

If you only discuss large features in your newsletter, how are people so new to the forums (meaning no newsletter would have been received as of yet) to know upcoming features?

As a  high traffic/volume forum admin myself, we had been getting a lot of the same repeat questions/suggetions. This was curbbed by having a sticky in each forum on FAQS related to the site overall. Anything content specific is stickied  below that in the individual forums. In doing this, we've greatly diminished the repeat questions and given ourselves more time to focus on improving the site. Just a thought!

There is a sticky post at the top of this forum covering what's coming next in the trackers category. Most of our requests are for the same 3 trackers.

We typically only discuss large features that are coming in our newsletter, but not smaller enhancements. We also do not plan on allowing members to edit their posts in the near future. This would cause a lot of confusion for fast-moving discussions where many people comment within a few minutes. Editing your post could cause all subsequent comments to become unintelligible.

Yeah, a sticky post at the top here, would prevent reoccurring questions on certain trackers and things that you are already working on.
