Medhelp...

I have a quick question about the Dr.'s on the bottom right hand side...(thank you) which I enjoy..but I was wondering if there are choices of Dr.'s available? Specifically can we get Dr.s that deal with addiction? Signs and symptoms recovery and such..How do you/we pick the Dr.'s?
Thanks again,
Newgirl

We're constantly working to partner with more doctors in different specialties. If there's a specific doctor that you'd like to see on the site, please send us their name and contact information and we'll be happy to reach out to them. Thanks!

"Blog" seems to equal free advertising for the experts here.

If you mean how are the doctors chosen who display in the lower right hand corner (the expert activity panel), then its pretty simple -- it is the three most recent doctors to do whatever activity triggers it -- which at this point seems to be to write a blog.

I found that they really will get back to you if you send a message but you have to be really detailed in your question or your answer will be kind of generic. That was my experience anyway. I should have provided more infor along with my question because the doc just told me to consult a doc in the specialty I had a question about. The doc could have answered my question but I guess I mis-stated  it. Good luck.

The best way to get Med helps attention with questions and comments is really the "contact Med help" button .The moderators are the people from Med Help that read at our forum. All of there time is spent keeping the forums on track .There are people that can help with these questions when you use the contact feature the messages go where they need to go.

I believe it is a MedHelp decision. Honestly, with how busy our forum is, if there were an addiction Dr. It would be more than a full time job. You are welcome to send your suggestion to MedHelp. Use the 'contact us' at the bottom of page.
