Please add a pedometer to the Android App

Please integrate a pedometer into the Android app. I'm currently using Walkdroid which works fine but it requires that I transfer the exercise info into the exercise tracker by hand. It would be better if MyDietDiary could track your steps automatically.

It looks like Fitbit and you app cover the same ground.

Adding step counting should be easy, all they do is use the accelerometer that's built into almost every smartphone to count jolts.

Hi there -

If you'd like us to integrate Walkdroid into the app, that may be possible, but you'll need to reach out to them. We suggest this message:

"I'd love for Walkdroid to be integrated into MedHelp's My Diet Diary app. Their API will soon be available publicly."

Currently, we have FitBit One integrated, and it has a step counter in it, along with some other cool things. We also have FitBit Zip and FitBit Ultra, but the Ultra isn't being made any longer. http://www.medhelp.org/land/fitbit-ultra  ;

We probably won't be able to add our own pedometer, but I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any questions.
