Problem with My Cycles

For some reason, my cycles was working absolutely fine for me and it has all of a sudden started predicting really weird menstrual and ovulation dates that are no where near what they are supposed to be.  Any idea how I fix this without have to start from scratch?

Hi there -

We have some crashes happening, and have submitted an update to the app store. It takes about a week to release them, so look for it towards the end of this week.

When you update it, you won't have to do anything but log in, and it should sync for you.

If you have problems after the update, let us know.

Hi Kirstie,
I tried what Emily suggested and that got me passed the "initializing" screen, but now when I click on a date to enter data, the app just closes.  I've started logging my info into the trackers online, but I can't seem to get it to sync with the app.  I have checked the settings and it is set to update.

In the meantime, here's a post from moderator Emily that may help: Hi there -

You'll need to log out, fully close the app, open it again, and log in, and your data should appear.

To fully close it:

Try closing the app totally.  To do this:

1 - Double tap the "home" button (at the bottom of your device, it's what you use to close a screen or app)

2 - You should see a row of icons pop up, and tap and hold on the icon for My Diet Diary

3 - When you see the - sign appear on the corner, tap that

4 - Tap the "home" button again

5 - Open the app and log in

Let us know if that works.

We are hoping to have an update released next week that fixes this and some crashes, but you should be good after trying this.

Thanks,

Emily

Hi - I'll remove your other post as it's the same issue.  It's still being worked on, and we're sorry for the frustration and inconvenience.

I'm having this issue as well and just posted about it.  Unfortunately, I thought I had everything synced and reinstalled the app but lost data since it wasn't synced.  Can get passed "Initalizing" screen, but can't enter data.
Thanks,
shannon

I am having the same issue with the itouch device.  I also noticed all my backups are removed from my mymedhelp profile.  I have had the MC tracker since 2010 made several updates and backups. logged in several times and the information was there.  Now it had Jan/2011 as the last backup/update.  please keep me posted on a fix. I want to upgrade to plus but if the issue is not resolved soon I will try a different app.

I just responded to your PM. It is happening to others, and we are working on a fix.

Since I updated the app to version 4.0, I have not been able to open My Cycles. Whenever I click on the app, it says "Initializing" for several moments and then closes. I have the app for iPhone. Is this happening to anyone else? I have turned off my phone and back on, and still no luck. I have months of saved info that I do not want to lose.

Hi there -

Your Menstrual Tracker here looks ok.  What is different on the app?  Feel free to send me a PM if you want to. (Just hover over my name and then choose Send a Message.)
