Sign in requirements

After seeing a post in my journal today re where to post problems, I added a short note to thread.....and was prompted to sign in.  This has happened a couple of times.  I have my new password taped to laptop, so can re-enter any time now.  

Is MH asking users to sign in each time we post?
I have site bookmarked and usually get in without any sign in...thought I was permanently in...but apparently not.

MH went off line today that could be the reason u has to sing back In...I had to as well.....just a thought.
