How COOL is that???? LOL Thank you SO much for taking the time to explain it to me. I loved the example you gave me, too. Helps to SEE it for real, ya know? What a great tool......now maybe I'll ponder a way to use it in the future Ha!
Bless you~
When you click on "post a question" at the top of a forum, above the box where you write, there are two choices, eihter to "ask a question"or t"ake a poll."
Sometimes people inadvertently check the wrong one, which is what appears to have happened in the thread you referred to in the addictions forum, since I didn't see any indication in the post that it was meant to be a poll. (The letters designating the two "choices" didn't seem to be intentional either, although I couldn't say that for sure.
Sometimes, someone actually does want to take a poll. For example, because one's Vit D level appears to confer risk if it is low and protection if it is in a good range in regard to breast cancer (as well as a number of other diseases, I set up a poll in the Breast Cancer Forum regarding whether members had had their Vit D level checked, if they planned to, or did not plan to. Once people have voted, the results show up as a pie chart.
Hopes this helps,
