changes s*ck, journal is broken, WTF medhelp?

I don't know what happened over the weekend, but the tracker is suddenly harder to use, more complicated and doesn't move down from one section to another. More importantly, my journal entries are no longer being saved after I type them and hit "done." That is a pretty significant feature to have broken.

Ok, the reminder now takes me to my homepage again (for some reason, that wasn't working temporarily.) The site has reverted back to the old entry system, and the journal feature is working. thanks!

I really appreciate that you are tinkering to make the experience better, and that you are so responsive to feedback. While I am not entirely against progress/tinkering, it can be frustrating to have it thrust upon me without warning - maybe an email alert would have softened the surprise, and my resulting frustration?

I look forward to seeing what you put together in the new iteration.

Hi there -

We are working on some of your suggestions, but have fixed the journal issue. Can you try that and confirm that it's working?

Thanks!

Hi there -

Thanks for the suggestions. The reminders take you to your home page, where you can use the health feed to add data, instead of opening every tracker.

I will pass on that you are still having problems with adding journals, and your other suggestions.

Thanks!

Yes, thanks for the quick reply.

When I try to enter a journal entry, and I hit "done" the whole page reloads and signs me out. I go back to the log-in page. When I sign back in, the journal entry is nowhere to be found. Initially, some of my tracker data seemed to disappear, too. Now it seems like the tracker data stays intact, but the journal is non operational.

I did see the controls for the tracker window. To me, they weren't visually obvious as controls, not as well tied to the tracker itself. And the overview at the bottom (to let me know what section I'm in) is hard to read. One of the control features I liked about the site (initially) was that, as I filled in information, the interactive window scrolled down with the tracker behind it, so it made me feel like I was tracking information accurately and not "missing" a section of the form. I'm kind of anal retentive that way, and it bothers me when visually, the entry window doesn't seem anchored to the tracker window. Also, the entry window doesn't have the journal section on it (at least, I didn't see it). So I have to click back on the tracker to get to the journal? Extra clicks are a waste of time and frustrating.

Also, a small thing: When I used to click through my reminder email to the site, I'd go straight to the tracker. Now I land on a home page, which is not as useful to me. The less clicks I have to use to get to where I want to be, the better.

I do like the little faces (on the mood tracker) but it would be even more helpful if those faces carried through visually to the tracker itself, maybe by the chart "key" for mood colors along that section. I'd like to see that kind of consistency of design and relayed information across the tools.\

Thanks

Hi there -

Can you tell me what happens when you try and save a journal? Is the save button not responding, or are you landing on a login page, or something different?

When you are trying to enter data, at the bottom of the window that appears, you should see Fileter by: Measurements (these are things you enter that are measurable - mood, blood pressure, exercise, how many cigarettes you smoked, or whatever it is you are tracking), Symptoms, Treatments, Events, or All. You can also choose Recent or Frequent at the top of the window to narrow down what you see.

We are working on these issues, and hope to have them all fixed soon.
