how do I eidt my profile information. I do not see a small pencil icon anywhere on the rofile page.

There is also a small pencil icon and the words "Edit Profile" on the right side of the page above the ad. It's next to the Messages, Watch List, and Account Settings links. You can click on the edit link in the Personal Information widget (as swampcritter outlined above) or you can click on the Edit Profile link.
The edit link is called "edit" and it is on the title bar of the personal information widget.
