Cefdinir for Urinary Tract Infection?

I just got Urinary Tract Infection again and I have a medicine at home called
CEFDINIR 200 MG.
I know it's for disinfecting bacteria in the body but
will it also work for UTI's?
my insurance just expired and can't get medicine :(
