Oral Thrush confirmed through Swab. Please help

Hello,
Thank you for helping.
I had unprotected oral sex with a girl about 8 weeks ago (Unknown HIV status), and i had small cuts on the lips.
I tested negative with 4th Gen test at week 4 and 8.
But now i have Oral thrush confirmed by report. Doctor said i have Yiest infection in the mouth from the lab test.
I dont take any Antibiotics or dont even have Diabetes or dont wear any dental dams.
Although i have been having Health Anxiety and little stress due to this.

What could be the reason for the Thrush?

Well, firstly your risk was very low to start with. The best time to test for HIV is about 28 days to 30 days. If you have dry mouth that can be a cause of yeast also corticosteroids for  asthma can do that. Some other medications could cause yeast too So, there may be something else going on. If you are still concerned talk to your doctor about the results.

Well, that is great that you tested negative for HIV. You took the best test possible and I hope you realize you are clear from it. Depending on how much anxiety you have it can lower your immune system. Have you been tested for diabetes? It sound your immunity is low for some reason. Do you drink a lot of alcohol? Also, eating a lot of sugar?  Have you had a complete blood count? Other than these things I would talk to your doctor about why.

i checked everything. no diabetes no blood issues. but i did eat some chocolates and been having anxiety and stress. but are you sure about the Hiv test? or do i need a re test?
