Armpit lymph node

I am 19 years old male. I don't know why but from few months i am searching my whole body for lymph nodes mainly in neck and armpit. And now I got something round small in the armpit very deep and present on the upper rib bone of both armpit and quite impossible to find out, but somehow I got it. AND I want to know that do lean and thin people can palpate their lymph nodes in armpit? As i am 5ft 9 inchs and my body weight is only 50kg. I am also having severe allergy everyday in he morning, accompanying with wheezing and itchiness deep inside chest like my lungs are itching. Can lean people feel their lymph nodes?

Usually, lymph nodes swell when your body has a reaction to a bacteria or virus. But they have to be a certain size like 10mm to be considered actually significant not pea sized or really small. If they are it is hard like a rock and not sore (usually) you may want to get it checked. Usually, they are spongy and roll around. If you have an infection they can be sore. It is somewhat easier for a very thin person to feel their body parts more than someone else. If you have severe allergies that usually doesn't trigger the lymph nodes. But, often people with seasonal allergies get ear infections and so forth and those can cause lymph nodes to swell. So any infection like a sore throat due to a cold or flu can make them swell too. Usually though, they swell in the neck not under the arms. Hope this helps.
