Throat with lumps

Last January I had a swollen lymph node in my neck but I had my doctor check me and she gave me Cefuroxime, the swelling went away, then after that week, I had a swollen something in my groin, he thought it was lymph node so he gave me Co-Amoxciclav but it didnt went away so I asked another doctor and he told me that he wants to see an Ultrasound of my groin, and it was not Lymph Node, it was my Artery. And it still there until now, beside it are some fatty tissues which can be felt really. Then on February 19, I had a sore throat and it has red lumps like blisters at the back of the throat, and until now it is still there, my ENT gave me Roxithromycin and it didnt react to it, its still there until now.  I don't know what this is. Help me.  I searched the net and it says there that this lumps are linked to post nasal drip, is that true? And I have alot of itchiness in my body since then, I also feel very tired  I dont know.  I will visit another doctor tomorrow.

This sounds like a viral infection to because of the lack of fever, lack of pus and clear mucus and phlegm. The itcyness may be an allergy to one of the antibiotics.

It is hard to say whether this is a bacterial infection or what sounds like an allergy (which would explain the itchyness) or both. Do you have any white spots like pus in the back of the throat or tonsil area, had any fever? Usually, you get a fever with a bacterial infection. It could also be viral. But I do trust the ENT's they are good. It is possible that it is a resistant bacteria. Some how I'm not surprised at the GP giving you too much antibiotics and miscalling a lymph node in the groin area. I had a similar incident with a supposedly swollen lymph node in the neck for months and the ENT said to get a CAT scan and it is only a muscle knot! The same doc said I had a toe infection and gave me two different antibiotics and I went to a podiatrist and he said it wasn't infected just swollen due to the nail sticking into the tissue. I think doctors over medicate with pills in general and then really alot with antibiotics. If I were you I would call the ENT back and tell him/her you still have the sore throat. But hasn't anyone taken a throat swab or culture? Post nasal drip will cause lots of soreness and perhaps lumps in the throat. After an infection (viral or bacterial) the throat sheds the old tissue when you get the post nasal drip. I would stick with the ENT. What kind of doc are you seeing tomorrow?
