Unkown virus

Hello I had sexual relations protected with a massage girl in California. Shortly after 3 days I started experiencing symptoms, need to urinate and redness in meatus of penis along with redness and irritation in eyes. By the end of that week I had tingling all over boxer short area The following week I had trouble walking due to the pain and tingling, this eventually turned into burning in the urethra and scrotum lasting two to three additional weeks. No noticeable blisters ever formed.I also suffered nerve like pain from buttock down back of right leg.

I am now left with after 5 months from this incident pelvic pain,sciatica type pain, itching and burning on scrotum from time to time but less severe than before. I also wake with watery eyes, sinus congestion, white stuff on corners of mouth every day since exposure. I have taken multiple STD panels for every STD HIV, syphilis, goon, chylmedia, hep, and herpes at 2 weeks, 6 weeks and 3 months all neg. I even followed up with an HIV and syphilis at 4.5 months and was neg.

I did receive treatment for the possible bacterial infections STD given z pack, doxy, ofoflax, uribel and something for trich.

My neuro said it's probably a unknown virus. I have been on a few rounds of antivirals for herpes just to see if there is a reaction, the antivirals seem to help the symptoms but herpes test was neg.

I am thinking this maybe undetected herpes infection accompany with a fungal overgrowth due to excess antibiotics.

Also my CBC came back normal but WBC was in the low range.

Any idea what this is? Please help.

No i didnt check for hpv, ill take ur advise and not to test for hpv since its going to clear up naturally. I related the extreme fatigue to my severe vitamin D deficiency. I still get muscle and joint pain. I sometimes feel like burning sensation and invisible bruises on my skin. Hopefully thats due to vitamin D. The tingling increased 60%. Keeping my fingers crossed that time will clear up everything.

Well, the best thing is to get the tongue checked when you get the CT and GC test. You may just have a bacteria on the tongue and have strep throat. Usually, with strep throat you can have pus in the back of the throat and a fever and swollen lymph nodes under the neck. Although, some times you don't get a high fever. But your throat will hurt a lot even to swallow. It is very dangerous to get your tonsils out when you are an adult. It can be extremely painful and you can bleed a lot. I would advise you not to if you can help it. After the infection is cleared up you can gargle with salt water on a routine basis. 1 tsp of salt in a cup of warm water.  Mono you would have a very sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, extreme fatigue, and sometimes swollen spleen and/or liver.

For HPV, it usually does clear up on it is own at your age. About half the girls at your age have HPV.  You may have gotten HPV from your husband.  You don't always get genital warts. Men usually don't get them. Has he ever had oral sex with anyone else? If so he could have gotten from someone else and could already have it. Most like he does if he has had sex. No you don't have to take supplements. It should clear on its own naturally. Have you actually been tested for oral HPV? They don't usually test for it.

Since you have a cough with the sore throat it may not be a strep throat because you usually dont' get a cough with it. Nor do you get a cough with mono or an STD.

Thank you very much for your reply. I think my tongue started to get white layer that dont go away when I scrape it after taking amoxicillin for 10 days cuz i had soar throat after one week from the exposure. I still have the discomfort throat. My dr said its tonilitis i might get my tonsils removed cuz i have so much tonsil stones awhile ago before the exposure.

And yes i had yeast on my vagina and i think i still have it after treatment my appointment is next week. What to do to get rid of yeast!

I did checked for all std's and HIV, and took a vaginal swab. Iv tested for chlamidya and GC thro vaginal swabs. The exposure was only oral he never touched my genitals. So i have to get tested for oral gonnorhea and chlamidya.

I read that hpv is rarely transmitted from genitals to oral! But it's possible. So lets say if i have oral hpv am I contagious? I cant give oral to my bf whos going to be my husband after 5 months. Is oral hpv going to clear up by itself within 2 years?? Do i need to take supplements to boost my immunity  to suppress hpv?

My tounge burns when i clean it, it has white border that looks like leukoplakia, and my taste buds look a bit irritated. Im using betadine mouthwash that kills bacteria, viruses and fungi. Didnt help. Im also experiencing mild cough with the mild strip throat.

Could it be mono?? Or std im worried.

White tongue really doesn't mean much. I know you are probably worried about yeast. Most white tongue is bacteria. I have had it too and that is what it was. You can test yourself by just using at tongue scraper or the back of a toothbrush that has a tongue scraping rough part on it. Just rub it on the white stuff and if it comes off easily like a gooey stuff and no bleeding you don't have yeast. It also smells like bread when you have yeast instead bacteria tastes and can smell bad. But you can get the stuff checked by the dentist or doctor. They know by just looking at it it is stark white not just white. But yeah I remember you had yeast in the vaginal area so if you want to get tested you can. See how the scrape test goes. I wouldn't bother with testing for HPV they won't treat you for it if you are positive any way. Just get your normal annual oral cancer check from your dentist as you always should.  Most HPV sloughs off anyway naturally and so I wouldn't worry too much about it orally unless you just want to know if it is there. You and your bf should get checked annually for oral cancer, everyone should .  You can get checked for GC. You said you checked for Chlamydia already and HIV and they were negative right? But you didn't get the GC test?

Thank you hun<33 im now worried about my tounge still have the white layer and white border! What could it be? How to treat it i feel dirty and disgusted cuz i think i caught something  From giving oral sex before 3 months. Im gonna get tested for hpv and oral gonorrhea. Is it common to have hpv from giving oral for less than 2 minutes and there wasn't any warts on the guys genital. Please help me i feel so disgusted and my tongue burns when I scratch it.

I haven't had the injection but you can take 4000IU of vitamin D for about  3 months and go back and get recheck to see if it is going up.It takes a while to go up. Maybe someone can tell you more about the shots.
