5 Conditions at once?

Is it possible for narcolepsy w/ cataplexy, sleep apnea, tourette syndrome, AD/HD, and OCD to all occur in one person?  Or is there one condition that can cause the symptoms of all 5 of these conditions?

Hi- the purpose of this forum is to provide helpful information, not a diagnosis, when possible based on our clinical expertise. When we can't, or when questions are more appropriate for your doctor, we advise that you ask your doctor.

Not be impolite, but what is the point of this forum if your reply to most everyone's questions is to "ask your doctor" ?  My appointment is over a month away, I just wanted to know if it was possible for one person (any person) to have 5 conditions at once, or if the conditions I mentioned are related - as in - do they occur in a similar part of the brain.

No, only a doctor who knows your history and has evaluated you can tell you this.

You can't tell me if it's possible for these things to co-exist or if there is a single condition that has all of these symptoms?  I'm not looking for a diagnosis, just information to prevent being experimented on with meds to treat symptoms without finding a possible underlying cause.

Because your case is so complicated, only a sleep physician who knows your history can answer your question.

I also forgot to add I have nocturnal tendencies - where I get more energy at night and end up staying awake until dawn - and then sleeping until the afternoon.  I've tried cutting out caffeine but it didn't change it.  My mother and brother are also "nocturnal" as we call it.  My father is narcoleptic as I am.
