I have a scratch on the left side of my vaginia. The scratch hurts really bad when i have sex with my boyfriend but it is only on that side of my vaginia. I can have sex with him if i am laying on the left side of my body...its weird and I have never experiance this before.
I experienced that before. Turns out I cut myself while inserting a tampon. It was very obvious that it was a cut, because you could see the skin was sliced when you looked closely.

If it is indeed a scratch, it is strange however if it really is not clearly a scratch but looks more like a cold sore then you should see your doctor to make sure it is not herpes or other lesion.
